Former Jewish Ghetto: Established in 1556 by papal decree, Bologna's ghetto was located between Via dell'Inferno, Via de' Giudei, and Via Valdonica. View the full map of Jewish sites above.

Active Synagogue: The Comunità Ebraica di Bologna at Via Mario Finzi 2 holds Shabbat morning services. Built in 1954 after the original 1928 synagogue was destroyed in WWII.

Jewish Museum: The Museo Ebraico di Bologna at Via Valdonica 1/5 documents 700 years of Jewish life in the region, including the medieval university where Jews studied.

Jewish Cemetery: The Jewish Cemetery at Via della Certosa is still in use.
